Apparently I Spoke Too Soon......
Our week continued to be crazy....Thursday afternoon we had a huge storm (possibly a tornado) blow through here - causing all kinds of inconvenience! I love a good thunder storm but this one even scared me! Around 3:15pm the tornado siren was sounding so I got Averie out of bed (only asleep for like 1/2 hour!) and we went into our 2nd bathroom because it is in the hallway and there are no windows. A minute or so later the wind started blowing so crazy and the power went out...it seemed like forever sitting in that dark room hearing the wind blow stuff all over, we could hear stuff hit the house and move around outside. I seriously expected to hear a window blow out, see a tree coming through the roof (we have 5 in our front yard), or have the roof blown off. By God's grace - we were completely safe and experienced no damage - just a lot to clean up! Pretty much all of the north part of town was without power which just made going anywhere a hassle. We were without power for 25 hours which was crazy!! Needless to say we got a chance to clean out the fridge/freezer and start over! haha Truly though we were very blessed to have no damage and only a day without power....there are still people in the area w/out! Here are some pictures right after it blew through, driving around the neighborhood, and our clean fridge/freezer!! =)

okay, so you see as i promised you...i am leaving a comment. :) anyway, those were some crazy pics from the storm!! when i was trying to make my way home from work after all of that and i went through vp, i saw some crazy stuff like that too, but i didn't see anything like that one tree that took the yard up with it! :) it also looks like that one pic of your back yard shows that the wind moved your grill about a good 15'-20', huh?!? thats crazy! but then again, so was the storm!
