Last Wednesday we started a Pee Wee Gym class with one of the local park districts. A great opportunity to run around during these too cold days of winter to play outside. It's held in a gym - full of play-houses, slides, cars, tumbling stuff, trampoline, balls, and just open space to run. Parents stay with their child - all Moms in our group - there were at least 20 of us! Averie was very investigative of everything there - mostly the stuff though not the kids! I know at this age most kids play 'alongside' each other as opposed to 'with' each other. So, it was kind of funny to see all of these moms following around all of these kids! It only lasts 45min which seemed to be enough time to us - the time ends with all of us in a circle singing songs and doing some finger plays. I'll try to get some pictures to post another day. =) Pictures are of Averie's new shoes which we got the night before because her others were small - only to find out that our gym class is done in socks!! =)
